camping...

This past weekend was probably our busiest weekend so far this summer. It all started out Thursday when Brock and the girls left for the annual all church camping trip at the coast. I decided to pass this year since Boston is still pretty young. Getting up to nurse during the night in a cold tent just didn't sound too appealing to me. So Boston and I had the house to ourselves Thursday night which was very peaceful! Friday afternoon we went over to visit the gang which was pretty fun, but I was very thankful I wasn't spending the night! I ended up bringing Alex home with me as well because she was cold:) She's definitely the least tough of the two girls!
Brock came home with Madison Saturday morning so that we could go to the last two events of his 10 year reunion. That's right, we're getting old! I can't believe it's been that long. At least I'm not quite as old as Brock so I still have another year. It was pretty fun I suppose, although I think I'll enjoy mine much more. We went to the same high school, just graduated a year apart. We actually didn't take any pictures at the reunion, oh well....
Sunday I met up with my good friend Jessica (from high school) at Starbucks. It was so good to see her! I swear every time we get together I have another kid! Now that I'm not going to be working so much we'll have to hang out more often. Speaking of working. My first day back is this coming Friday. I'll just be working per diem, so I won't have a regular schedule. It's going to be much more convenient for us at least for the next few years. I'm actually kind of excited to go back to work which probably sounds really bad. I have a pretty fun job and it's nice to get out of the house every now and then! I think if I didn't have an escape I would go stir crazy!
So, after having coffee with Jessica and her adorable nephews I left the kids (yes all 3) with Brock and went up to Portland with my friend Elisabeth for our annual shopping trip. We go every year for the Nordstrom anniversary sale~ We had sooo much fun! It's amazing how efficient I can be when I don't have to keep track of the kiddos.
After we were done shopping, which was when the mall closed, we headed over to see Pam, Heath and little Eden at the hospital. She's adorable! Unfortunately the only pictures of her are on my friend's camera, so maybe I can post them later?
I think that's all the excitement I have to report on, I'm sure there will be plenty more to come! Here's some pictures, they're a bit out of order, sorry~
