It was just me and the girls for Halloween this year. We carved a pumpkin (Madi choose the pirate ship), we went to a party at The Weldons (Madi's friend Julia), and we went trick or treating around Grand Oaks. Let me tell you we will NOT be going trick or treating downtown anymore, Grand Oaks is the place to go! Whereas downtown businesses give you a plethora of tootsie rolls and Jolly Ranchers (read cheap candy), people in Grand Oaks give out Chocolate! One for Madi, two for Daddy :0)
Alex went as Tinkerbell and Madison went as an OSU cheerleader. We did most of our walking around with the Oaks': Naomi, Jason, Jordan (firefighter), and Sabrina (bumblebee). The only drama was when Madison and her friends would get ahead of Alex and me, and something would scare her (incredible hulk jumping out of the bushes) and she would come running back to me crying hysterically. I get the feeling that Madison has a love / hate relationship with Halloween, she loves candy, but she tends to be very skittish.
Enjoy some pics, while I go find another fun size butter finger :)
Uh oh, holding hands already ;)
