Before Brock went out of town the girls each carved their pumpkins. They had so much fun digging all the nasty pulp and seeds out. Afterwards while I was at work they cleaned the whole house and made roasted pumpkin seeds to surprise me when I got home. They're so good...
Hopefully I can get some good pics of the girls in their costumes tomorrow. Not sure if Boston's going to dress up or not, still working on a costume for him:) We're planning to go trick or treating downtown in the afternoon and then to a party with some friends in the evening. Should be fun. Brock's supposed to get back into town tomorrow evening, so hopefully he won't be too tired and can come join in the festivities.
Before we go trick or treating the girls are supposed to get their flu shots. Madison who is irrationally afraid of anything that involves any amount of pain is quite anxious. Her little sister is a stinker and has been trying to give her a bad time all day, saying things like: "I love shots mama," "I want to get a hundred shots because they're so fun" just to spite her big sister. Crazy girls!

I can't wait to come down! I'm so glad we get to! Also.. Alex is absolutely SO FUNNY.. I couldn't stop laughing reading and imagining her saying she wanted 100 shots, because they're so fun...hilarious! Maybe Madi can read to Preston too :) See you guys soon! -jas
Layne hates shots, and yesterday she got her flu shot...it only took 3 people holding her down and one to administer the dumb thing...have fun. We did find that a chai latte really helped the pain aftrwards.
