Saturday Adventure~

We had a fun day in Portland yesterday. We went up with some friend's of ours who have girls the same ages as Madison & Alex. We stopped and did a little shopping first and met up with Heath & Pam for a few minutes. Our original plan was to go to the zoo, but Jasmine got there before us and informed us that it was super crowded, and had a long line just to get on the shuttle from the parking lot to the zoo where there was another super long line. So we scratched that plan and headed to Jasmison Park so the kids could play in the water. Of course I wasn't prepared, so the girls had to play in the water in their clothes:) At least we had a change of clothes with us. Jaz & Preston met us down there and we just relaxed in the sun for several hours. At dinner time we went across the street and ate at HotLips Pizza, it was pretty good but didn't compare with American Dream! We stopped by Bridgeport on our way home for some dessert and a bit more shopping~ It was almost 10 by the time we got home and got the girls in bed. That of course didn't deter them from being up and ready to start their day at 6:30 this morning!

That will probably be our last trip out of town before the baby arrives. I'm 37 1/2 weeks now, and would be perfectly happy if I had this little boy sometime this week! We'll see.... I went for a long walk this afternoon and plan to do the same everyday until I go back to work on Wednesday. At my appt. last week I was 3 cm and 50% effaced--whatever that means.

So, hopefully my next post will be announcing the arrival of this little guy!
