This morning we woke up to about 4" of snow at our house! The girls were very excited! School was cancelled, so we decided to spend the morning playing out in the snow. Just as Alex and I were walking down the stairs outside our house we unfortunately witnessed an awful sledding accident between a truck and a sledder coming down a trail that ended on our street. I immediately yelled at Brock to call 911, and the ambulance was there in six minutes, although it felt like at least thirty minutes! We are praying that the boy will be okay! He was unconscious for about a minute, and then just started moaning but wasn't really alert. After all of that we just wanted to get away from the scene, so we all walked to Starbucks to get some hot chocolate, we stopped and got a movie for the girls, and a few groceries to make a late breakfast. We're planning on just spending the day at home, staying warm and cozy!

The accident happened right past the 25 mph sign where the trail meets the street, the sledder went right into the street as the car was going by!

That is horrible, I hope the kid is ok! We are staying in, since this morning I slid down a hill backwards in my car! Enjoy your day!!!
Oh my goodness, that is awful, hope they're okay! We witnessed a really bad sledding accident when we lived in Wisconsin...not pretty.
Your pictures are great! Looks like you had such a fun morning. I walked downtown myself and took a bunch of pictures, did some Christmas shopping, and went to Starbucks...all IN THE SNOW :) What a perfect winter day!
