Saturday was a busy day for us. Earlier in the day we had a holiday get together with Brock's side of the family which was nice. After leaving his parents' house we dropped Madison off at a birthday party and headed out to Sunrise Farm with some friends to look for a Christmas tree. The weather was beautiful and sunny which was a nice change from last year! Alex had lots of fun wandering around looking at all the different trees. All she wanted was a "baby tree":) Brock tried to advocate for the douglas fir but it didn't quite work out for him. The way I see it, Christmas only comes once a year so we might as well get a good looking tree! So after looking at all of our options we found one we agreed on.

hunt for a chistmas tree~
We headed home and got the tree all set up in the living room with lights and a star. We still need to hang the ornaments but we ran out of time. We had to get over to Albany so we could take advantage of the Good Samaritan Employee Costco night:) So maybe we'll decorate the tree tonight or tomorrow?
Alex came down with a fever today and I'm really hoping she doesn't have an ear infection! She's made it six months without one and I was really hoping she'd outgrown them, if that's possible:)
One other bit of exciting news~ Brock and I are expecting #3 in June! We're all very excited. Of course Brock is once again hoping for a boy:) We'll see if we can tell here in the next few weeks?!
