This morning was Madison's first day of Kindergarten! She is going to Wilson Elementary 1/2 days. They are doing a staggered start so half of her class started today and the other half will start tomorrow. Then they will all be together on Thursday.
Madison has been looking forward to this day for a long time! She's been counting down the days! She has a great teacher and I think this will be a really fun year for her!
I had high hopes of getting up early and making her a nice breakfast on her first day, yeah we overslept as usual:) Oh, well!
It's hard to believe we have a child in elementary school already! Part of me felt a little sad and emotional about the whole thing, but I was mostly happy to see Madison so excited and eager to start school.

How great that Madi is excited and ready to go. I don't remember the last time I was glad for school to start!

It is a bit crazy to think that now we have children in elementary school...yikes we are getting old!
