Okay, so Brock started a blog for us over a year ago, and well, we got two posts in and then kindof got side tracked;) So, I'll try to give a little update. We have been living in Corvallis for the past 3 1/2 years. We have two little girls, Madison (4 1/2) and Alexandra "Alex" (18mos.) Brock is a software engineer and works at Tripod Data Systems here in Corvallis. I'm a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital and work in the nursery/NICU. I'm currently working full-time which has been quite challenging. At the end of the month I'm going to be casual! So I'm very happy about that!
Our oldest daughter Madison goes to pre-school at the Bates Center at OSU. She is quite the little social butterfly. Our youngest daughter Alex enjoys getting into just about everything, coloring on walls, eating rocks.... I honestly don't remember Madison doing these things! Maybe it's just been too long.
Brock returned early this morning from Waldport, where he was on a men's retreat with a group of guys from church. We then headed up to Vancouver, WA to my aunt and uncle's house where we had a celebration for my grandma's 80th birthday! She flew down from Kodiak, AK to share her special day with all of us:) Luckily the girls slept the way up and the way back, so it was a pretty smooth, pleasant trip. The girls are in bed so Brock and I are enjoying a few moments of peace and quiet~
